UMK Colloquium on New Materials

UMK Center for New Materials at Aalto University organizes seminar series, UMK Colloquium on New Materials, twice a year.
The UMK Colloquium on New Materials comprehensively presents advanced materials science research both in Finland and abroad aiming to cover fields in chemistry, physics, materials science, and also applications. Lecturers are invited from universities, research institutes, and industry. Previous seminar series can be found on the UMK Center for New Materials web pages: Previous Colloquiums. Seminars are directed for an interdisciplinary audience consisting of graduate students, researchers, and often professors. Students can collect credit points. You can collect credit points even if you have participated in the Colloquium before.
There is a host from the UMK Center for New Materials member research groups presenting either their research group equipment or research in the beginning of lecture. In addition some tours introducing member research group facilities will be arranged.
The seminars are arranged on Wednesdays at 11.15 - 12.
