What is the UMK Newsletter

UMK Newsletter is a information leaflet published on-line by the Center for New Materials. The Newsletter appears twice a year and features news related to materials science.

In the UMK Newsletter you can find among other things up-to-date information about the equipment pool, appointment news, information about the dissertations in Aalto University School of Science and Technology in the field and a column by the director of the center. Also the most important news related to the materials science outside Aalto University School of Science and Technology reserve special attention in the Newsletter.

History of the UMK Newsletter:

• The first UMK Newsletter was published in the spring 2005.
• The UMK Newsletter 2/2006 was the first Newsletter published only on-line.
• From the Newsletter 1/08 the Newsletter will appear in English twice a year.
